In the last week, I have acquired Koni Bump Stops from Truechoice ($80 shipped) and, today, my AGXs arrived from PST ($389 shipped). I also have an active quote with Courtesy on the various miscellaneous parts. I used this web site as a guide:

http://www.rensch.com/se-r/

Here is my quote:

"Upper spacer gasket: $8.59 each
Front mounting insulator: $22.72 each
Upper spring seat pad: $6.91 each
Bump stop and dust boot: $9.58 each
Lower spring seat pad: $5.58 each
Thrust bearing: $12.34 each

That's just for the front. Here's the rear:
Upper insulator: $28.63 for two
Bump stop and dust boot: $14.68 for two"

You need 4 of those parts not listed separately for the rear. But no thrust bearing for the rear.

I figure I may reuse the dust boots after I verify their integrity. They are integrated with the stock bump stops but I will cut them off in favor of the Konis. That brings the above total to $183 and change.

Combined with the springs, the total is around $900. Now we wait for the springs...

P.S. Did I forget anything???

Alignment? ;)

Looks like you went the distance to get the info.

Personally, I'm going to see how much I can cheap out on the strut hardware. I bought a lot of those pricey little rubber pieces when I put in new struts a few years ago. However, I will get another pair of thrust bearings - those things are weak and like to make a lot of noise when they wear out.

Since the arrival of the springs is indefinite, I went ahead and rented a spring compressor from Autozone ($40 deposit only). I am going to go ahead and install the AGXs. This has 3 advantages:

1) I can play with them at the autocross this Sunday as well those in September assuming the springs continue to be late.

2) Practice at installation. It's fun!!!

3) I will get to see the condition of the $183 in parts I am considering buying from Courtesy to see if I want them all.

Wish me luck,
Gene
