: luk clutch ?

Occasional high rev slips have told me for a few months that a new clutch is on my horizon, I am thinking probably around the end of next month.

My nx is a daily driver, but I drive it pretty hard. My mechanic suggested a luke and he quoted me a pretty reasonable number for the job. He says they are 30% stronger then stock. I know that Luk does alot of OE clutches, but not with Nissan. I've never put my left foot on a Luk.

Any strong yay's or nay's on Luk ? Should I go with it, or stick with a standard JWT/ACT/Clutchmaster ( a little pricier ).

It appears that most OEM replacement clutches are approx. 30% more clamping force. The Daikin pressure plate, which is generally the same pressure plate in all OEM replacement clutches is I believe 540kg clamping where the OEM was 430kg clamping.

The LUK, Paraut, Exedy, etc. are all decent OEM replacement clutches with a little more clamping than stock.

I went with a C.A.P.Clutch. It consisted of a Daikin pressure plate and Aisin disk. Has held up really well, but then again I am not pushing 'mad' power either.
