Soopastank 08-22-2002, 02:38 AM I'm pretty happy with the results!

After the first run my clutch would slip up top. The slipping was really noticable on the 3rd run. I guess that explains the lower trap speed. Looks like I need to step up like my Norther Alliance brothers and get a *REAL CLUTCH* lol...:D
OnyxEros 08-22-2002, 09:24 AM my friend with those traps you have a low 13sec car
just change that dp and you are set
good job!
O
REDSENTRASE-L 08-22-2002, 09:52 AM those toyo fz-4's suck. ;)
SERprise In WV 08-22-2002, 10:37 AM Good job, Irwin! Get/borrow some slicks and you'll go mid-13s easily. :D
Soopastank 08-22-2002, 11:04 AM Being one of the fastest street imports there. There was a WRX that ran a 13.6 at 99 mph and a 3rd Gen RX-7 with everthing you could possible do to a RX-7 ( upgraded turbo's, huge front mount, wideband 02, some type of stand alone, suspensioin everything ) and he war running 13.7's at 104..( still tunning things out he's expecting low 12's on street tires ) Its cool to have a bunch of V8 guys come over and ask * What the hell is in that thing?? *
One wierd thing I did notice is that all the Turbo cars 300zx's, WRX's, RX7's, and I were all running street tires while a couple of NA RSX's, Civics, and Integs were all running slick NA. Oh yeah and there was a Trueno there with a Crazy DET swap there too...didn't run but I got some nice pics of the car and the motor.
Sr20 B12 08-22-2002, 11:12 AM Nice numbers @ 9 psi of boost. What cluth are you using?

Damn, the Japanese trend is hitting here! Those little Corollas are light as hell (about 2100lbs), now picture a 400hp+ det in that thing!!!

SR20B12,
Im using the JWT PP and stock 2001 SE disk. Holds up fine while daily driving but after one run it started to slip at the track. Im probably stepping up to the ACT street/strip...maybe ACT HD PP/6puck...if Luis keeps making fun of me.
SeenSense 08-22-2002, 03:31 PM The SR20DET was in the Corolla?? or are you talking about a toyota engine?? I am a little confused

No that is a Nissan engine... The trueno is a cool car in which several engine swaps can be done with minimal modification to accomidate the engine of a differnet manufacturer. I believe it can hold a rotary, some nissan engines and most toyota engines without expensive modifcations....
REDSENTRASE-L 08-22-2002, 04:24 PM i hoped you spanked some H cars!:D are those guys from team demented and powerline still around???
92SE-R 08-23-2002, 04:01 AM Powerline is still around.
Irwin, that clutch should hold fine. Stop slipping the damn clutch and just drop it.
He does drop the damn clutch. Trust me I know.. He babies that piece of crap and this is how it repays him. Powerline sheesh. those civics were always fun to beat.

REDSENTRASE-L 08-23-2002, 04:01 PM Yeah, i went to high scholl with some those guys. they liked to talk a lot of smack about se-r's.
cursed92 08-24-2002, 09:56 PM Yes Irwin you need a real clutch, because even cock has a 6 puck and his g20 is all stock(for now). All TRU Hardcore Alliance members have them, and now this is the time to get one. Because you have one that was ment for girls.
Walter, Founding Father of the Northen Alliance.
And from the beautiful city of Hayward, California.
Soopastank 08-25-2002, 03:55 PM Your 6 puck seemed pretty harmless Walter.:D Im know now that i must upgrade. Hey Walter you wanna install it? ( he,he,he ) You know my b14's tranny better than anyone.;)
MarkSR20 08-25-2002, 11:21 PM Hey nice runs,
I wish I was a little closer to CA to see you run your car in person! That is a good mph, slicks are definitly a nice friend to have. Let me know if you need a clutch! Have a good one and I want to hear about the match you guys have in a few weeks!
