I had a low miles '92 NX2000 a year ago and I miss it. Better yet I found out my wife really liked it too (if you're married, you know this can be a blessing if you're a car guy!)...

There's a high km one now for sale nearby, $2900 CDN. It's got 288,000 kms (not sure in miles but it's lots). Not sure if this link will work but try it to see the car...

What should I look for besides some rust and a tired motor (does the timing chain stretch by this point?) ? Is it worth this much? You have to realize a couple things. These are not common around here (the car is 1/2 hour from me), I sold my old one for over $8000 CDN last year, I want this mainly for motorsports (pavement, gravel/dirt, ice). To me, it seems like a great platform for lotsa winning!!!

Greetings Dans boss. I called on that car a day ago and it was already gone. If it wasn't you who bought it, than sorry to inform you that it sold.

The price sounded pretty good, as I paid $4500 (CAD) for mine with 200,000 km. Didn't here if there was engine problems, etc., but for that price you have to wonder.

Oh yah, and yes, I believe that most people put the Sr20det from the Blue Bird in their NX's.

Yah I think the KMs were gettin a little high.
Although I was talking to a few guys and they said that he has seen some of them go up to 400+ KMs but that all depends on how the car is taken care of. But that one might have been a good deal. I really cant say for sure. Im in BC and I just got my 91 NX1600 over here for 6000 CDN with 130000km and its in really good shape with only 1 previous owner.
Oh well eventually a good one will come around for you.
And yah they are great cars. I plan on keeping mine for a long time (and when it dies prob get another one LOL)

My wife accuses me of loving my NX more that her (I think she's joking. Well, at least I laugh :( ) Anyway, since she's not around, I'll tell you a secret: I do love my old red pearl NX ;)

I've spent the last 10 years trying hard to either kill the car or kill myself. I'm glad to report the car is fine. I WOULD say I'm fine too but my friends would say otherwise. :(
