i know this is a nissan forum, but if anyone knows of or owns a Ford Festiva they want to sell, please pm me! mechanicals don`t matter, would like the body to be somewhat clean. i will travel or even ship the car if the body is really clean. thanks

you showed a photo of a Fiesta...

A Festiva was later and bigger (made in Korea)

Which do you want?

thanks for the reply, but i have to say your wrong;) that is my father's festiva, and i`ve had 4 of them. just look it up real quick, you'll see what i mean. the car in the pic is made in Korea by kia. the fiesta's were older and a little smaller.

ok... gotcha.. I was thinking of the bigger ford aspire as the festiva....

there is someone here that has one turboed and calls it the festicle.. lol..

Look out west (aka phoenix) for one.. NO rust state.. We've bought 5 older cars from there already (like b13, b15, p11, mitsu, truck, etc.)

thanks madout i was looking into that blue one

Bes, you read my mind. maybe not det right away, but i am thinking a bolt on DE festiva would be nasty. around 130 whp in a 1500 lb car should be good for low 14s high 13s:biggthump

and usapride, these things actually go well off road and in the snow, but now that they are so rare, i hate to see people tearing them up (even though they were meant to be throw away cars)

thanks Chris. out west is definatly the way to go. notice the plates on the pictured one? i drove that car home from WA state. took 3 days, doing 1000 miles a day :eek2: i've also shipped 4 cars 2 from WA, 1 from Oregon, and 1 from AZ. shipping has went up alot in price though:(

check out craigslist for phoenix... looks like a possibility here if that peaks your interest.... we can probably take a look as we run about to the junk yards next week if its something you'd want (and throw a few $$ gas money our way if its way out of our way from sun city)

damn, i was just looking up shipping from Phoenix AZ and the cheapest i could find was $750. looks like i`ll probably have to find something closer to home:( i just don`t want to be into the car for more than $1k, as the shell will probably be the only thing used;)

i really appreciate your offer though Chris! i hope you find some good parts in those junk yards, everything is so rust free out there.

your welcome.. and yeah, shipping isn't so cheap any more, which is why I tend to fly in and drive home (and have done so with the last 4 phoenix vehicles purchased)...

gluck and thanks :-)
