so i drilld and tapd the block but i kind of ran into a problem i think. when i drilld the block i drill through (what looks like an oil jounal) on the block itself. is this a real bad thing?

what were you drilling for? oil or water fittings? the oil return is almost impossible to screw up, the feed comes from the oil pressure sender. The coolant feed and return I drilled and tapped into the inlet and thermostat housings.
