I was just wondering if anyone here knew a good spot to run the wire from the battery to amp. I couldnt really find a hole in the firewall that was easy to use. Just wondering if anyone else did. I know how to hook it all up im just trying to make it easier on myself. Its cold outside!

i use the grommet where the ecu wiring goes through right behind the motor. pop the grommet and run the wiring under the center console to the back seats into the trunk.

i ran mine through the drivers side fender, into the gromet where the wiring for the power windows go then pull it along the driver side

Most of the installs that I've done I end up drilling a hole in the firewall near the console/glovebox. Put the a rubber grommet it in a gtg. It's nice if you can run through an existing grommet though.

i ran mine through the grommet on the passenger side. i try not to drill something if i don't have to especially if you cant see directly behind it.

the best place i found with out drilling is here. this is on 98-mt once in side you can run it under center or under driver side door.
