Ive decided to put up for sale my Lancer Evolution Hood vent. This is an actual OEM peice from an Evo 8. It comes with the outside piece with all seals in tact and the slotted vent that goes on the underside of the hood.
I installed this into my b13 hood and had alot of complements on the way it looks even though i had messed up on the cut because i didnt use a cardboard template to trace it.
I suggest making a cardboard piece that fits it perfectly and then use that to trace onto the hood then do the cutting.
Once installed if fit nice and flat and the bottom vent with the hardware secures the top piece onto the hood nice and tight. Here are some pics of it installed into my hood.
Again comes with the 2 pieces and all hardware.
$65 shipped is what i paid and what im asking. These are very very hard to find and new from the dealer it costs about $300. This is in like new condition as well.

Again ive got alot of complements and especially if the car it goes onto is a darker color it would look even better. You will have to trim the underside bracing on the hood so that the piece secures tightly against the hood. I dont have alot of custom fabrication talent and it was fairly easy for me to do.
Also if your turbod this thing really does help keep underhood temps down alot. Its even noticable on the temp guage keeping the cooling system temps down. I put this on when i was turbod.
