I like those! I wonder how hard they are to install. My only reserve is throwing everything off as far as the gauges are concerning while installing.

Well I just installed a set of reverse indiglos in my car. I don't have those nifty little needles though :D Anyhow they were quite simple to install. Just overlays. I would be a bit hesitant to install some to where I had to remove the needles.

dont do it , i orderd those indiglow needles from import intelligence and it took like a month and a half to get here and you dont get needles its these little led things that you have to take your whole assembley apart pretty much and trust me , it doesnt look like it does in the picture. i was verry disappointed, people always get in my car and say " arent they supposed to be blue?" i wouldnt do it if i were you

hyperwhite200, thanks for saving me from buying these. i was really starting to convince myself to order them.

i have also heard of instead of ordering these things u can actually make them, i seen it posted on an altima board, dont know if it'll work for the se-r's though. i cant seem to find the link right now though.

The company that makes the intelliglows (sp.) and gauges is www.importintelligence.com they are easy to install I have them in my car... You can get just about any color gauge you want also.

do your needles actually stand out and look very blue? unlike hyperwhite200's? and what year se-r did u install them in?

There as blue as blue can be.. The install was easy also.. I installed them into a 99 se-l (4 door se-r pretty much) THere are little ticks on the gauges so you can line the needles back up... You also need the gauges for the blue to reflect nice and bright. If you install them on your regular black gauge faces the color does not come out as well. Go with the white overlays and the blue needle kit. And yes it is just a led install with stock needles but i turns out nice if they are installed correctly

i had those on my old 1.6liter...they look cool, but i would rather the numbers match the needle. Dont play with them too hard, you can easily mess up the fiber optic wire that goes to them. I did this after having them a month and that was 75 bucks down the tube....

It does not use a fiber optic wire... It uses led's.. The Wire I think is 22 or 25 gauge. Go to home depot and pick some up... If you know how to soilder you can probly fix them.. The wire is just palin old standed wire.... I can't remember exactly but i think it is 3 pair swisted shielded wire....

i went to radioshack for help with those about 6 months ago, and they said it was fiber optic...i threw them away right then......

Fiber optic does not use stranded wire....... Think about it foir a second... If it was also fiber optic it would have been twice the price and would not have used a led considering led's run off of low voltage power in most cases.... If the junior einstien at radio shack also knew the least bit about electrical wiring he would have notice the wiring code on the shielding of the wire... Thats the little white lettering that usually does not get any attention... Well anyway this tells you what type of wire or cable you have.... You got shanked by a guy at radio shack.... That sucks because you probly could have fixed them.. Sorry dude.

i bought mine when i first saw that website a while back. My led needle kit didnt have sheilded wires...my setup had a wire like in a telephone jack....kinda like bare metal, but not....i touched the wire to the slot where the hole where the wire was, but nothing lit up....i hope that makes sense...it is kinda hard to explain

i kind of figured i might have to buy the white faced guages for the blue to stand out, but isnt it hard for you to see the white needles in the daytime? or did u paint the needles?

The stock needles have silver on the side and the blue get picked up buy that... You are able to se them during the day.. And besides who checks to see how fast your going anyways.... And the tach well you should be able to hear it when you need to shift..... Just kidding.. Yea you can see them in the day.

YEA, I would't advise you to get them unless you know all about
speedometers and are very skilled at removing each one of them and reinstalling them back correctly,Or unless you know someone
who does and will take full responsiblity if they screw up your
guages.Thats what happened to me,on top of waiting a month for
them the guys messed up my guages, and I had to spend 80bucks
on a new cluster. And SE-R clusters can be hard to come buy sometimes.

trust me it ain't worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the only thing that came in the box that wasn't a headache was
freakin ''ImportIntelligence'' sticker!!!!!!!!!lol

I screwed my speed O up when i installed mine.. I installed everything stilky smooth, i just forgot to put the car in first and and start it when i put the speed o back on, simple.. I got another speed o and installed it silky smooth, miles are only off about 100 or so.. I called Nissan to see how much a new speed o would be and they quoted me around $195 + 2 hours labor... I was like fuck that, so i went out and searched for another cluster.

If you look at the little ticks at the bottom left of the speed o those are your guide ticks.... It is true for any type of gauge install that the needle have to come off. I use to work in a shop and we did soooooo many of these it wasnt funny, and i am not just talkin about the Importintelligence.com ones but apc and everyone who make gauges.... If you pay attention to what you are doing and where your needles lie it is not that hard to do...
