this was done on a dying turbo that died on the way home. was supposed to be running 15psi and only got 10psi.

Lol, just breakin ya balls. Good runs dude. Looks like that thing was still having traction issues with a dieing turbo. 12's seem possible for that car. What kind of setup are you running?

turbo was smoking a little before i went to the track and on all my runs i only managed to get 10psi out of it that tapered down to 8 psi by the time i crossed the 1/4 mile.

turbonola 02-14-2009, 07:29 PM power and mph were down because the turbo was blown. i'd hit 10 psi and it would slowly taper down to about 6-8psi. the turbo blew fully on the way home. i'm lookin for another but nobody seem to have one right now. i'm running a t25 for the time being. :(

just hop on ebay and get a rebuild kit for 75 bucks, t25s take about an hour to rebuild..easy peasy, or just buy another..they are a dime a dozen.

i was running a gtir t28, blew that and just to get around slapped on a t25. the gtir turbo is so blown it's not funny. shaft play in and out and up and down. i just bought an experiment turbo to see what happens so we'll see how that goes.
turbonola 02-16-2009, 09:05 PM also the blades on the gtir turbo are bent a little so i'm just going run something else. if the other turbo i have purchased blows i'll get another gtir t28 and get my true times.

thanks most me and my friends have ka-t. a few do have sr's though. i just figured why let a good engine go to waste. that setup was put together for about the price of a stock sr without install fees.
mattro 02-19-2009, 01:14 PM ka's are nice engines if i bought my 240 with the ka in it i would have kept it over the sr for that exact reason.
