240sx KA24E-T

using stanza ecu with EC4 custom bin made by DeviousKA on Hybridka

ok here goes, Nissan datascan gets all my info right, but when i go to map trace, i use the LMB etc addresses that i got reffered to, i got the Map trace address (map to trace) from TunerPRO, tuner pro says my fuel map is in 0800 i give NDS 0800 on Map Trace address...

but i get a bunch of WEIRD data, RPM scale is all messed up (gave it the same address tuner pro uses for the RPM scale), the Fuel map is a totally random trash data pile

So i guessed my addresses are wrong, so i got a hex editor and when to the same addresses (offset) 0800 and i found my damn fuel map!, why isnt NDS AT LEAST getting my fuel map that at least that address is right....

So i dont get how NDS goes to addresses to find data, i mean my map is reffered right and it gives me trash data, so how does NDS read addresses???

I'm not sure what's going on, not familiar with these ECUs, but have you seen this?

There are some KA24 values that may or may not work for you.

the values he has to use are for a stanza ecu - msg devious on eccs - im sure he'll help u.

Nah, im trying to understand a lil further now

for example, u open ur bin with whichever program u use to tune, the program will say Primary fuel map is in this Hex address: 8100 so in Nissan datascan, map trace mode, it will ask several address along with a Map to Trace address, i suppose its the same address as 8100 should work

cause i used the same address my program (Tunerpro) said that my Fuel map was stored in (0800) i gave NDS that same address and the map it called was a pure random crap map, and i started thinking... today i opened the bin in a Hex editor and indeed in that address i had my Fuel map

i gotta try again, but i need to confirm this, NDS searches absolutely the same address where the data is found in a Hex Editor???

because in a Hex editor i found all my scales, maps, rpms scales, tp scales etc in many addresses, so if i use those addresses NDS should call the correct data right???

I want to understand how NDS searches for data, that way i can use NDS Map trace on any ecu i find, independent of relying on someone giving me the addresses (ill just find em myself XD)

There are two parts to the map trace function in NDS- the addresses for the map in the ROM, and the RAM addresses your actually using to index the map with. Sounds like your using the wrong RAM addresses. I don't work with that ecu, sorry.
