Well.. With the help of Danny's shop in New Orleans.. we are getting our act together on the QR25DE turbo kit. Danny and another friend's shop are making turbo manifolds and plumbing for the kits to be sold. I am impressed with it so far.. and hopefully we can get this thing out on the market soon.. as well as some SR20 manifolds/setups with our name on it. :) More to come soon..
Here's a pic I snapped during the manifold construction...

Damn that engine bay is tight... turbo hitting ac lines and all, what garrett turbo is that?

lol.. I know.. it looks like the exhaust housing is hitting the A/C line from that angle.. but it's not.. Everything fits pretty good.. no clearance problems yet.. that's a 60 trim/.60 A/R T04E compressor and Stage III/.63 A/R on the turbine side. Should make some good HP.. considering it's a 2.5L motor.. and moves a lot of air on the bottom end..

Hope you had turbine, manifold and downpipe thermal coated. I melted my fans on my altima after a few months. Good luck on the project!

yeah... I've been working with Dave at Area 51 on the emanage. We originally were going to go stand alone.. but after seeing the sucess that they had with the Emanage.. we decided that it would be easier and more cost effective to go with it. I just can't see people buying kits for 5K and trying to install a standalone. Also.. the engine realy can't be revved much over it's factory rev limit on stock internals.. 50lb injectors will be used and the ignition timing harness to control timing aspects. I am going to work with Tom at Lightning Motorsports here in town to get the timing and air/fuel done on his dyno. The car isn't done yet.. I'm still waiting for my FSM to come in from Chris at SR20. We're hoping for around 250-275whp max.

Unlucky, do those guys have plans to upgrade the valvetrain on the QR so you can get it twisting. That thing will be making gobs of torque from a 2.5L. I bet you won't get traction until 4th. Hmm..... wondering if 'this' Nissan tranny will like torque better than the SR trannies. Keep us updated.

its the rod ratio that kills the QR's rev-ability. you wont be able to rev it much past 6800-7000 because of this. too much piston velocity. that motor has a huge stroke.
also, you might want to keep that O2 sensor line (zip tied split loom) away from the turbine. i ran the wire there on my friends car and it started to sag a little from the heat (this was just from a header). run it under the radiator support bar to protect it from heat.
