I have read that when running a 75 wet shot, its recommended that you retard the timing by 2 degrees and run a colder plug...bkr7e i think, which is two stages colder than stock.

My question is, do i have to adjust the timing only when i use nitrous? or can I daily drive the car with timing at 13 degrees. Same question with regards to the plugs, will the car run good on the colder plugs if i drove it everyday? Or do I have to change them everytime i plan on using nitrous.

Any input from people who use 75 shot on a daily drive car would be helpful, thanks.:biggthump

you can daily drive your car at 13 deg. timing and with the colder plugs. I have run 100hp shot on a usdm sr20de that had 150k on it at 15deg timing and never had a prob. So 13 will be safe just dont spray for a long time like a 1min.

Not sure if you saw this sticky or if this helps you with anything but I figured I would post the link up to the sticky.

Thanks for the input.....just had to be sure since this is my daily car. Did the nitrous have any negative impact on the motor, reliability wise?
