i dont know bout u man. but i owned 2 hondas. a crx si, and a 92 hatch. i had to get out of hondas. EVERYONE has them. EVRYONE.

that is why nissan is sometimes referrad as the "darkside". not as much people know about em. well, it's your car, do what you want to do with it. i'd like to see the look on your face when your hatch gets jacked for it's motor by some punk ass kids. thats the honda world for ya. be prepared to defend yourself at every stoplight too. red sentra is right (by the way I need to get your name) I have a bunch of buddies who drive hondas, and some that have some very fast hondas but it is true, there is no loyalty, I have a buddy that had a very nice 91 civic hatchback with a turbo LS VTEC and nitrous he had some "so called buddies" paint his car and when they painted the car they where checking it out. sure enough his car got stolen and was stripped of evrything he worked for, and was dumped,. the y guys got in allot of trouble for it,. but he still didnt have his car,. so now he has started all over again. and i remember specifacally when honda guys would talk to each other they would ask about what thet have done,. and it was like all hush hush,. like too many secrets. ask any SE-R guy what he has done he will tell you because we are proud of what we have done.

here's my advise. if you are worried about those guys hatin on you cuase you drive a nissan, then save your money and buy an FMAX kit. that sould shut em up. and when you beat em, say that my car doesn't even have vtec and you do! or say, vtec is suppose to be the fastest cars in the world! thats what i tell em. the look on a cicic si's face is PRICELESS when you can out power them. you have to realize that nissans are getting more popular now. just don't come cryin back sayin that your car got stolen or when cops keep fucking with you. to other people on the road, you're just another obnoxious honda ricer. thats why i stay nissan.

Honduh's aren't worthy enough to suck the exhaust from my Greddy, let alone me park next to one. I'll never leave the darkside!!! Honduh's are tooooooooooooo ricey, buzzy, commonplace, etc..... My opinion: Honduh's just plain f*cking SUCK! The only Honduh's I'd ever consider owning are: a generator, 400EX, CR250. Nuttin else.

I wouldn't mind having a civic hatch with an H22 under teh hood... :cool:

well, i am glad you love nissans. but you still have not answered the all important question: WHY?! hondas are decent cars for daily commuters or 16 year old kids, but if you're looking for tunability...i hope you have deep pockets. i'm not saying a honda hatch can't be fast, but it'll take a lot more work to get it there. just the other day i was talkin' to a civic owner who was tired of his ride. he had full exhaust, headers, aem cai, msd ignition, eibach lowering springs and tokico struts. his complaint was that after all the $$$ he's spent, the car still is slow and doesn't handle well. granted he has a SOHC, but even w/ a B1XX DOHC engine swap, it'll still take some cash to outperform an se-r.

I'm almost hoping this is a joke. I don't think there really is anyone that stupid.

Hi - new here - don't have a Nissan (Sister had a Sentra that was totalled awhile back :() .. I agree with what's being said mainly, especially people wanting to race you (just cause you've got a Civic/Honda) and the risk of theft.. an old friend of mine had an ugly teal 96 EX, he put some 18" ghetto rims, exhaust, and Altezzas.. well the car was stolen from outside his home, when they found it, the body was ruined (he said scratches all over, like it was driven thru the woods or something), completely gutted down to the stupid Altezza lights...

I think your car looks nice, respectible and I'm sure it's not slow. If you really want to get a Civic hatch for the right reasons, go for it.. but please for the love of God do not get one because every other teenage boy has one.. I hate how trendy it is. I've got a Tiburon and I get shit all the time because I have a Hyundai, blah blah blah, "why didn't you get a Honda" .. Let me tell you I love my car, I love to drive it, and I love how it looks, all that matters. Who cares if some Civic thinks my car is crap, the biggest complaint I have is the (lack of) aftermarket (good) support..... So just think wisely before you make your decision, I wish you luck!

i totaly love nissans, but there are real honda tuners out there that aren't ricers. There are plenty of non-riced all motor ls/vtec hatches out there that will put the smack down on ser's with det swaps and thats just the way it is. To each his own.
