Who's driving down from the tri-state area?

Rob and I plan on leaving Long Island around 4am Thursday, which should put us in Savannah around 6pm. We'd love to hook up with some other people for the ride, so post up!

I'll be waiting on Erick to drop the car off to me, though. If it's not done, I have a rental car at my disposal, but there shouldn't be any issues having the car ready by then.

Im seriously thinking of joining this convention. I need to see if any rooms are available, or even buddy up with someone. I would love to join the caravan. Tonight when I get in i will do lots more research.

Sounds great. Looks like ill roll with u guys and my partner will be shotgun. Im just waiting to hear from my boy tonight about getting a hotel with his discount of some sort, and its a go. So far it all looks promising. I will have it all pad and confirmed before the end of the week. I been waiting for this type of fun for a long time, can't wait.

Leaving NW CT most likely late Wed Evening or around midnight, want to clear as much of NYC Metro and NJ before traffic picks up. Last time I drove to Baltimore I did that and it worked out well, maybe could hook up before or after Philly somewhere. Driving through the early morning works better for me. Looks like my co-driver is flying in Thursday evening to minimize time away from work, so I want to be in by ~6 PM.

Damnit, you guys are leaving a lot earlier than we are. We were planning on meeting up with the SC caravan crew, so this was the estimated travel time.

I was thinking of 3am on Thursday morning. We'll be taking two Trailers & 2 car's are going to be driven. Were leaving from my house in Queens. Let's figure out a meeting place on the NJ Tpke.

Last time I made that drive leaving same time I plan to I was in Baltimore around 7-8 AM. Being close to a halfway point I could probably hang for awhile and hook up, too, just need a place for that time.

I was driving my G last trip to Baltimore. That car tends to eat up the miles a little faster , so I may take longer with the B13. G a bigger gas tank, gets 26-30 mpg hwy, and I can drive it all day at 75 mph. The B13 requires a few more breaks for gas and w/o a co-driver, some short rest breaks.

With a foot of fresh snow in my driveway this morning, can't wait to get out of CT for a break!
