Finished my 2 pulley install. SUCKED ASS. Happened to see some grease on the axle boot. So looks like I need a new axle.Actually I have been in denial for more than a couple months. I could feel a slight grinding coming from that side but chose to ignore it. Should have kept the one from the parts car. But I gave it to BEN.


Well my question is the parts stores list it as right or left. Which is it? I don't want to order the wrong one.


Next question since I will have the tranny drained anyway. I noticed some seepage where the shift rods go in. I have the o-ring how easy is this to change? Any special tools needed? And my as well pull the switches they might be seeping do you use teflon?

The parts stores detrmine left and right when you are sitting in the car, so you need the right side axle.

What about the o-ring where the shift rail goes in? Easy to change? My as well do it now.
