Well, my bro chris (nismoser) was in the process of putting his pacesetter on when i got to his house. I helped him finish that up and then we got to work on my car. Everything was going nice and smoothly until the right cat nut became stripped on the stud. The left one came off fine, but the right one was completely rounded. So, i had to bust out the angle grinder. Well, after grinding away, making a trip to home depot, and grinding some more, the secondary finally came free. After that, everything bolted up perfectly on the hotshot. The only place i might have a leak right now, is at the secondary where it connects to the cat. I have to torque it down a bit, and that should cure the problem. My first impressions of the sound was louder then it was prior, but not as tinny and ricey sounding as chris'. :D
It was also raining, so i couldnt really give it a whirl. I know it usually takes the ecu a few days to adjust, and today is the 3rd day. I felt it opening up very nicely and it pulls like crazy from about 3500 to pretty much 7k now. Im liking it quite a bit. Im planning on getting a thrush glasspack eventually to quiet it down a bit. The exaust is rattling at idle a bit, so im going to get some new hangers put on where the old cat hangers were. All in all, im happy with my purchase and only the track will tell what im going to pull.
