So basically after 2 years of not posting, the first thing you come on and say is "you guys suck"..classic douchebag, doesnt matter how "cool" you might believe yourself to be. I might be a newb on this forum but Ive been around the block more than enough.

Anyway, there are ways to get your meet going. Here's a tip for next time:

1. search for the words portland, vancouver, beaverton, camas, salem, eugene or any other local towns you can think of. Now look for people who have indicated they are from those areas. Also troll through page after page of the NW section, saving all the screen names.

2. IIRC this forum only allows you to send PM's to 5 people at a time. So what you want to do is make a word document with all the names you find seperated into groups of five, already formatted with the ; between them.

3. PM these people well in advance, inviting them. Save a template of your PM in word as well, save yourself the typing.

4. go look on that cesspool of newb celebration NWN, do the same thing.

I have thrown Bseries only meets, nissan meets and wide open meets using this method on many forums. It worked for me and it will work for you.

So now instead of all 3 of you getting ready to go stand in line at the PIR BK go get to work and get a real meet going.

D is probably one of the most well known nissan cat for a while now. D throws some of the best meets by far... I wouldn't go as far as calling him a douche. It is true what he says about weak meets. B series meet would be kool, but it has since lost its touch to idiotic people. (Ricers)

D isn't apart of NWN anymore, I don't think. Also I think the Hostility is from meeting up in a small parking lot and not buying anything at the joint. From the looks of it, its not just a lil' B-series meet. I think its more of a car gathering as, of say inviting friends and friends inviting friends. Then it turns into a mixed car gathering, bad display of ricers doing burnouts and causing mayhem in delta park

We werent trying to have a big meet in the first place. Just a small gathering to meet some locals.

im sure if this meet was intended to be big, it could have been. im sure if we wanted to invite a bunch of nwn or right wheel drive people we could have. no one said it was a b chassis meet. dom, a good friend of mine wanted to have a sr20forum meet and greet. its a social sr20forum get together. in which some of us have invited our other friends.

look im not trying to start anything, its just I am not a ricer for one...number 2 I dont appreciate someone coming at me saying "you guys suck", it kinda rubs me the wrong way....number 3 the guy may be well known, but that does not excuse dickish comments like that.
Lastly, I would love to get to the meet and try to revive the lost B chassis glory(as in a nice meet where people can enjoy either others unique rides, not ricer trance music and idiots attracting attention from the pd)..but unfortunately this weekend doesnt work since my car is FULL of crap to be worked on.
I would love to meet "D" in person, and im pretty sure we would get along just fine, but again, that whole unnecessary post rubbed me exactly the wrong way.

that he does, however, when people are safe behind their keyboards they tend to be a bit more liberal with their statements. I chalk it up to over enthusiastic commentary. This is why I prefer to speak face to face.
