anyone know about the legalities involved in getting a DET car smogged and street legal in California? or is the swap street legal as it is?

The motor is illegal to have in your car...and it wont pass smog....but it's so nice to actually have one:p

Leave a $100 in your ash tray at the smog station, and hope you get a Helen Keller inspection. A more expensive route may be to buy a shitty 1.6, swap dashes for a day, voila. Same color helps, or primer the 1.6. You can always move.
