I just removed my Gti-R' T-28 and i want to get it rebuilt with a ball bearing center section, the S15 compressor housing, the exhaust housing extrude honed and ceramic coated. I have tried calling turbonetics to no avail...and we all know how email is with big companys. Anyone know where else in the US to do this?
thanks

louis anaya sells them new for $800, IIRC. it may be cheaper to just get it this way. also, these are brand new, which means you dont have to worry about someone monkeying the rebuild, OEM is nice like that.

I carry Brand New Pulsar GTiR T28's for $650.00 + shipping. If you wanted to upgrade your center section to Ball bearing and upgrade your T3 compressor Housing to the S15 T04B compressor housing alony with an Extrude Honed turbine houisng and then HPVC coating it, it will cost a fortune. If you wanted to send the turbo to me, I can have it broken down and give you a quote on how much it will be to rebuild it, if it can be. I can also let you know at that time how much it will cost to either get you an S15 T28 or upgrade your T28 to an S15 spec'd T28.

1/4mile times arent real big issue for me but responsivness is. The gtir turbo has a larger exhaust A/R than the S15 but the S15 has ball bearings and a larger compressor housing...i want both. When you say fortune what do you mean. My turbo is flawless...absolutly nothing is wrong with it, but i know it wont continue to meet my demands. I want to turn 24-28psi on race gas making hopefully 300-350hp but needless to say the boost will be kept at 10-12psi for daily driving.
Would it just be better to get the S15 turbo and swap the exhaust housing and turbine from a gtir turbo? If so can that be done? I am really interested. let me know either by this post or nmiller@candw.ky
