Well I tried this once before and seeing that it's an 8-$900 decision I'm looking for more input.
Everyone seems to have an opinion (Rollercage included) and I'd like to hear em' all.
BTW FYI... TireRack reps say automated info is wrong:
205/40 16 baaad (recommended on site)
205/45 16 goood (recommended by reps)
So help, please :D

205/40 16 is the smallest tire made. IF you want a horribly bad ride get them otherwise get the 45's. I say stick with 15's and use a 195/50 or a 205/50. I use 14's at the strip.

Stay with 15"; there are potholes and tar strips and rocks, Oh My! waiting behind every corner to jump out in front of you and try to hit your wheels. Having had to trash as set of 16" wheels, I went to 15" for the extra sidewall. Turn-in hardly suffered at all.
205/45-16, 215/40-16 or 205/50-15 keep your rolling diameter close to OEM. I was able to fit 7-1/2" wide wheels under my B13; you should be able to do the same with your NX.

^Ditto. My vote is also for 15" wheels, 205/50-15 tires. Like I said before, better tire selection in that size.

ditto i say go for the 15's the 16's may look better but not after a pothole dents your rim, i have 15's on 195 50 15's and already managed to blow a tire and dent my front drivers side rim on a pothole and i was only going 35

hey, I have 16's but I would probably go with 15's also if i did it again. they probably do look nicer than 15's though :)
I damaged mine 2 minutes after i got them on a pot hole i didnt see till the last second!! it wasnt that bad, but later at night another time i hit a rail road track that was sticking out and needed to be fixed acrossed a road and that added a lil more.
i have 205/45-16 tires on them and those are pretty thin. I think they rub a lil when i turn the wheels all the way.
anyone know about how much it might cost to get the lil dents fixed around the edge of the wheels? its aluminum i think.
