hey whats up guys i just bought a 91 nissan sentra with a sr20det swap. The Cars clutch just went on me and i am wondering if i buy a clutch for a sr20det will it fit right in since i have the stock tranny? i dont know anything about nissans any help is appreciated thanks. the car also is having idle issuses when i drive and pull in the clutch the cars idle goes very low and sometimes it dies and other times it will idle between 1,300 rpm and 2,000 what could cause this? i know my car is running rich. i was told from the owner that i have to clean the iac also is it even worth keeping this car or should i just get rid of it??

stock sr20det's are RWD so idk..

get an upgraded SR20de one.. it will work fine. stage 3 works fine for me.. 250whp.

Well about the clutch. Are you refering to a rwd det or the fwd det? Any fwd sr clutch should be fine. rwd... your on your own there.

The idle issue I need more details... specifically when does it do it? idling in neutral, when coasting to a stop?? Why is it running rich to begin with?

i fixed the clutch i bought an exedy one. the cars warms up fine it will idle at about 2,000 and then once its warm when i try to stop at a stop light or if i coast n neutral it will shut off it doesn't hold an idle could this be from a vacuum leak or is it my iac valve gone bad??? i know its running rich because when i go n start it in the morning there is black sut/ carbon all over my driveway right behind my exhaust. idno why its rich its a turbo sr20det richer's better than lean correct lol also can you guys tell me what kinda gas mileage i should expect outta the car??? thanks

if your stalling problem sounds like a vacuum issue like you mentioned.. first easy step: check you BOV, make sure it is recirculating. Thats a common problem most ppl over look.

If you dont boost all the time and drive conservative you should average 30mpg IF tuned correctly.

Their should be a vacuum hose running from the intake manifold that is supposed to connect to the bov... if Im not mistaken.
