RCC SE-R 08-27-2002, 10:21 AM Do you guys think it's a bad idea to run a 3" exhaust without a resonator? I plan to use a 3" Edelbrock RPM muffler. I think it's a 15" or 18" can. Enough to worry about, or a few ponies here or there? I really don't want a very loud exhaust :( Rockwood 08-27-2002, 10:17 PM resonator wont lose you any discernable HP. i run a resonator, and it is pretty quiet. make sure it doesnt rub or touch anywhere, that will make it seem like 10 billion times louder. also, 18" can fits in there with plenty of room to spare. i am thinking of cramming a 21" muffler in there. this is on a B14 by the way. try Dave's Asspipes. Are you going to use this for track use at all and that is where u are worried with power. If so when u go to the track just take the exhaust off and run open downpipe. | ||
