Gonna pick one up tomorrow. Price is good - $53 Cdn, so that's about US$34.

Are they OK quality?

They're mediocre, but the way I see it, paying very much for a front strut tower brace on our cars is a loss. They don't do much.

I paid $40 for my Ractive STB over three years ago, and I haven't had any hardware problems.

i paid $25 for mine and its been well worth it.. I dont see the big difference in stillen's or nismo's stb to make it worth $100.. A strut bar is a strut bar.. they all do the same thing

i cant see there being too much difference in a strut bar up front, as long as there is something to firm it up, then its doing its job, pretty simple device really, i dont even think it could qualify as a device actually..... as simple as it is lol

I bought the front and rear strut bars from Stillen for my 97 Se-r and I definately noticed a difference. When I would go into a corner hard, instead of leaning out it wanted to nose right into the corner. I think the cheap hollow bars are less noticeable. Stillen bars work!!!!

i bought mine 2 years ago for (I remember) $35 from groupbuycenter. I don't feel a difference but I hardly throw my car at the limit and it's on stock suspension. Slight modification was required to make it fit on my 99 and it's pretty heavy. I think around 7+ lbs. Get the carbon fiber ones.

I think you are wrong. I have a cheap hollow bar and guess what, it dives right into the corners just like your stillen, and it really doesnt matter if its hollow or not as long as it ties the two strut housing together so they dont want to flex. My hollow bar cost less works the same and it weighs less. Stillen is a rip off but I am glad it works for you:D
