toguedrifter 02-19-2009, 12:03 AM Hey guys,
The Godspeed radiator sales will be canceled and all customers’ PayPal purchases will be refunded due to the following reason:
When I opened the box today I measured both inlet & outlet and they measured 1 inch. I called my contact at Godspeed to figure out whether it was a mix up or mistake. He told me it was for the Sentra/NX and had never had a problem with those. So I verified that our stock inlet/outlet sizes are oem 1 3/8. The Godspeed website has misleading information on our radiators and are made with the wrong inlet/outlet sizes! First thing tomorrow I am returning the radiators I currently have. They also said they copied the basic design of the koyo rad. Which I then verified and found out koyos are designed correctly, so that’s false as well.
So I called Mishimoto, another rad. company, in hopes for a solution and asked for their specs. SAME DEAL! 1 inch??? After their representative verified with Nissan on our oem radiator inlet/outlet, he told me that they are surprised with the new information and are stopping current production on sentra/nx rad.’s and are reproducing with correct sizes in a couple of months
So at the moment I am extremely frustrated of the fact that I wasted my time and your time, dealing with Godspeed, and giving your hopes up, sorry guys. I apologize for leading you on. I was looking forward to a new rad. But I guess real quality comes at a higher price. Good luck to you all in finding an alternative and have a good day!

SR20 91 SE-R 02-19-2009, 12:06 AM dam!!
s132nr 02-19-2009, 09:57 AM i knew those outlets looked a little small
worldcrafter 02-19-2009, 08:22 PM holy shit $150 for a bigger radiator that's cheap, too bad about the hose fitting though.
toguedrifter 02-19-2009, 11:30 PM If you guys are still interested, I believe I can get OEM NX2000 rads new. Let me know if that is something you guys want to do...
Taurus45acp 02-19-2009, 11:34 PM thats a negative....2" aluminum core or bust. I hold revs at 6-7k for LAPS needs to be big.
Maybe RockAuto has the correct rad??:: KOYO, OE STYLE Part # 214600M520

DE + s3 + I/H/E = good throttle response/reliability
Taurus45acp 02-20-2009, 12:29 AM has anyone considered a civic aluminum radiator, I had one on my H22 lude and my fans never came on because they cooled so well

Im not sure what the inlet/outlet size would be, but it increased water pressure a bit.
toguedrifter 02-22-2009, 02:12 PM WHat radiator are you using now?
star-bucks 02-25-2009, 04:58 PM what would be the price for a new NX rad?

^The inlet/outlet is only 1" :squint:
This radiator is junk to me.......VID proven. I'm getting my money back and I'm going KOYO r1977 all the way. No more BS radiators for me. You get what you pay for sometimes. Tekkie was right. By this being my daily, I thought I would just easy by with this. Shows that short cuts will cut you on the daily driver as well.

Rockwood 04-27-2009, 02:38 AM Why don't you just cut a GA16 hose and put it over it as a spacer? We had to do that for the Koyo on the racecar...
Low612 04-27-2009, 03:05 AM Wow i have been running mine on my daily driver 100 miles a day for 2 months . I stepped up the hose to fit . I have no leaks at all . I guess i got lucky. This radiator is huge and my fans dotn even turn on for a LONG time at idle now. I only bought it because my stock rad had leaking endtanks.. But im very surprised for 137.00 ebay rad went off without a hitch ..knock on wood
Rockwood 04-27-2009, 03:49 AM Good enough for me! $140 after shipping can't be beat!

Yah , thats what i was thinking . Honestly i was quite surprised how thick this thing is and it leaking from the welds. I had to squeeze this badboy in and the car is stock . Now im ready for boost w/ac in the summer.

^Cut the GA16 hose? Been there done that a long time ago. The hose was not the problem, it was the welds in the bottom tank.

^I know my way around radiators and the Godspeed didn't workout for me. Good luck to those who will attempt to buy it, or for those who are running it.
