I have here is a GT28R off a S14. I also have a gtir manifold. Will this still clear the block or will it need rotating? and does it bolt up to ether the avenir stock lines or the gtir stock lines or will i need some custom ones.
Thanks

It works fine. If you turn the turbo down, you'll need to grind some off. But I think it's fine up top, and the lines should bolt up.

Well i just got it today and bolted it up to the manifold, the hot side points directly at the block :S

If i rotate it to the same way as a gtir turbo, will a gtir actuator bracket bolt up?

not sure, never messed with a s14 turbo, should be fine if it all lines up, not that hard to find out lol

Ok so i rotated it to match a gtir turbo, the GTIR actuator bracket bolts up fine, but the rod doesn't quite reach, What has everyone else done to over come this?

atpturbo.com has extension rods that will let you make it reach

I clocked my GT28R downwards like the BB T25 turbo. Bought a new wastegate actuator with adjustable arm en fabt myself a new bracket

Didnet install it yet on my block, so dont know if it fits on my BB manifold.
Good luck.

the part that the old wastegate bolted to while it faced up, on the compressor housing might need grinded down. I had to do it on mine

I dont want it to face down, i want it to face up. Factory position on a fwd makes the GT28R point directly at the motor

I know, I just gave you some advice on how to deal with this problem when a better solution is not available.

I know, that's why I clocked it downwards.
