hit 120 mph in the nx2000 today on my frontage road, and was still accelerating

I once got the speedo close to 125. Sometimes the car wouldn't go past 110 though. Not sure if the ECU limits the speed or not. IF so mine only worked every once in a while.

ummmmmmm. i dont care if you people dont believe me. but i hit 130MPH. and im stock...

I have hit around 135 in the nx and about the same in the se-r you begin to run out of power there

Ok the fact that everyone has gone 5 mph faster the last is getting kinda ghey.:rolleyes:

The top speed of the stock NX2000 as reported in Car & Driver back in '92 (I think) was 134 mph. Lets just say I agree with this number.

Ummm... Jimmy... didn't you JUST turn 16? Take it easy there big guy. Not lecturing you man, I would just hate to hear about you like I do so many 16-17 yr-olds. I know I didn't know squat about driving when I was 16, but I sure thought I did.

hey ive hit the 130 mark but had to let off cause i was running into much slower traffic and my brakes need to be changed really really bad

i learned my lesson long ago.... fast as u think your car is that little radio in that cruiser goes alot faster u cant outrun that two way radio cause everytime i get pulled over for stupid things like having foglights on my car i get surrounded by like three cruisers

let me write my two words to this..

we cound in KM/H that means 1 M/H = 1.60935 KM/H. (correct??)

so, 120 M/H = 193.122 KM/H ähm, sorry, but my NX 1,6 runs ~210 KM/H (130.5 M/H)!

I know many NX with Sr20DE-engines, and they run ~ 235 KM/H (~146 M/H).

Ok, these values are shown so at the tachometer and I knew that it's not exactly working but could this be true?

b t w: Does anyone know, if the NX1600 has a speed-limiting device?
