I am not sure but I think I spun a bearing again. The first time I did it the sound was very noticable and very loud. This time I'm not sure. I don't really hear it at idle only upon acceleration. Sounds like a knocking sound that gets faster with acceleration. Once I let off the throttle it goes away. Also it is not as loud as when I did it the first time. Somewhat what a valve cover sounds like when its low on oil.

Park the car dude, and save your crank. It sounds exactly like my car did when I spun a bearing.

Try pulling one spark plug wire at a time, and see if the noise goes away when you rev the engine. It;s usually the #2 cylinder that goes. Did you run it a little low on oil?

Damn I hate to hear this. Then again the upside is a JDM motor :)

I love mine ;)

Sorry to hear the bad news though.

I had guys look at the problem. Its not the bearing as I thought, Both said it was the wrist pins between the rod and the piston.

Time to get Crower rods and a stronger crank. Might as well if you are down in the motor. Why do it twice.
