I was in Savannah today to finalize some details for the convention. I found out that the Savannah Music Festival will be going on while we are in town. As of today, there are still 31 rooms availble during our weekend. The hotel manager expects to sell out with all of the activities going on in Savannah during our stay. So they will honor our group rate, but he doubts they will have rooms available past the 23rd for our weekend. My advice is to make your reservations now to ensure yourself a room.

Well I am offcially not going. I have a room booked, and I will hold it for a week. If for some reason they are fully booked and someone needs a room then I will transfer my reservation.

FYI - I just called and reserved us a room today and they still have around 30 rooms available for the convention weekend.
Can't wait!
