I know most of you guys are running 13 in rims with your slicks. Lets say the scenario is that you have a set of b14 15 inch rims and a set of b13 14 inch rims on the same street tires. Will the 14 inch rim produce a better 1/4 mile times just from the sheer fact that it has a smaller circumference.. Or would it do the the opposite and slow my times?

its not the circumference of the rim thats gaining power its the fact that you can get more sidewall more sidewall means more traction

with 13 inch rims you can get a good amount of side wall out of 22/23 and 24.5 slicks if you bolt your slicks to the rim youll reduce them spinning around the rim and you can hook insane when the sidewall flexes

btw like everything else in life you need equilibrium too big of a sidewall kills top end

So that's a yes, the 14 inch rim will produce a better 1/4 mile time than the 15 inch rim using same sized tires?

better 60ft which overall should mean a better pass 60ft determines alot of your 1/4mile time

Yea that what I was thinking the best I got so far was a 2.1 on 15 inch m/t et streets. So by using a smaller wheel I'm hoping that would improve.
