I was running around last night and decided to hit the bottle. I still have my 125-shot jet in but I'm on pump gas. When I hit it, it went <kung, kung, kung, kung> so I let off immediately. The car still runs great, but I'm sure that I'm overboosting. What do you guys think?

never heard it described like that ... its usually a really metallic "ping" sound. i gotta admit, i've never actually heard detonation before, so what the hell do i know :crazy:

It might just be your car's engine "bogging" from that high of a shot....do you have a purge kit? Sometime when there is air in the lines on a high shot , the car will sort of bog for a second before it runs smooth.
