So after taking out the dash and finally changing the burnt out bulbs on the instrument cluster, we put the connectors back on the cluster. Speedomter pinion, and three other connectors are in. So I went for a test drive and saw that the tachometer does not move, the gas tank is on full, and that the temperature guage was always on C. The indicator lights on the bottom don't even function to warn me of seat belt or open door anymore. :( . I'd appreciate any input to this problem that happened.

Problem is FIXED and the cluster is functioning normal again. The 10A (10 ampere fuse) on the inside fuse panel on the lower right (labeled 10A METER) was needing replacement.

Nevermind, the problem is back, but the meter fuse keeps blowing. and I'm trying to find a wire that's grounding to the chassis.

I checked again for loose wires and found a back wire with a loop. Assuming this has to be grounded, I placed it on a screw attached to the chassis and voila! the amp did not burn out and the gauges functioned again.
