Using search I can't find substantial info on doing the swap. I have a 91 NX2k and a BB DET motor to go in. slowly but surely I'm getting what I need ..BB ECU, clutch, exhaust etc etc

My main question is this ..on the actual swap are there any sensors needed to be swapped from the DE to the DET?

I believe if im right(did on my car)...Its needed to swap all your sensors.Due to you wrining harness from the NX which you still use. And the sensors from your NX are gonna work. So yes switch over the DE sensors to the DET.

I have a BB ECU and an nx2000 too (92). As you'll use the nx2000 harness, the tps plug on the engine won't fit your harness, you'll have to swap your tps.

You'll have to swap the O2 sensor.

You may want to change the temp sensors as you're sure that those on your engine are working.

Be sure to get motor mounts while the engine is out.

Thanks alot for taking the time out to reply. Was busting my butt trying to get the drivers side axle out of the hub ..wow what a pain ...mallet didn't work had to use a sledgehammer ...its all the way out but the last 1/2 inch doesn't want to cooperate.

When I get home today i'm gonna have to put a socket in there or something and keep banging it out ..crowbar/screwdriver refuses to work any further... I don't think this car has ever been worked on ...ever. Once I get the axles out I'm home free...

The DS axle is a major pain. There's a c-clip on the end that goes into the trans. It's job is to hold it in. That's what is giving you the trouble. Yours is probably all loose and the shift tolerence is not allowing you to pull it out. Try rotating the axle 180 degrees from where it is now to try and re-center it so you can pull it out easier. Careful with the seals.

While you guys have problems with the driver's side axle, I'm having problems with my passenger side. I ended up just dropping the motor out with the axle sill attached and I'll take it out from there. :)
