So I've had the se-r for about a week now and the motor seems to be performing good and getting good gas mileage. However there are some annoying things with the car that I can't diagnose.

1.
The first noticeable thing is when rolling and moving from a stop, giving it gas while releasing the clutch in first gear SOMETIMES makes a loud squeaky noise like a rusty metal door hinge opening abruptly.

2.
The next one is that when the car starts moving a loud humming sound can be heard from the front of the car. At first I thought the noise was just the tires, but rotating them didn't seem to rid of the noise. The noise is constant as long as the car is moving but seems to lower at higher speeds. The noise is there even if the car is rolling in neutral so it can't be the transmission :confused:. The only thing i can think of is axles, wheel bearings, or tie rods?

Bad front wheel bearings replaced with new bearing kit. Hubs were okay and didn't need to be replaced. The bearings are being replaced in shop and left there since last evening.

EDIT:: Car runs smooth and quiet with no more noise! Well except for the occasional roar of the sr20 ;)
