How bad is it??I've heard of peeps useing it and peeps talking bad about it. Do they work? If not why?I'm low on the cash so im looking into options. I'm going to be using protech manifold, nissan T3, external wastegate, and a 3 in downpipe. Also what size piping should i be using??Thanks for the help in advance..

Ive heard and seen...That the Starion IC doesnt hold up to very much...Im not sure of the exact ratings and flow and etc...But if your gonna run any type of T3 or anything larger than a stock SR20DET turbo. Dont go with the starion IMO. But there are others that can say some different. Wait for more posts and even use the search at the top of the page.

right now, I'm using a conquest I/C which is the same thing, It works fine with my T25. the main issue to me with a starion/conquest is the end tanks. they are pointed down, something will need to be done about that, (new endtanks, or weld a plate, and make new outlets on the side of the 'tanks. when i upgrade to my Incon turbo, I'm going to be running a forge I/C

I have one on my nx2000 and it really intercools. I welded two plates where the old holes were before and welded 2" pipes on the spikes of the end tanks.

I heard they can old up 350hp, which will be enough for me.

the question is....is the throttle body side of the ic pipe cold or warm under hard runs with the starion ic?

i did the exact same thing, welded plates over the old holes and had 2.25" tubes welded on the side of the end tanks.

if running it hard at night, i can touch the intercooler exit side and it will be cool to the touch.

and, from switching from the stock top mount to the larger front mount i barely notice a difference with lag, i thought that it would have been alot worse than what it was.

very happy with it overall for the price!!!

the TB side of my I/C piping is much cooler than the turbo side, but after really hard runs for extended amounts of time i wouldn't exactly call it cool
