what did the shop say about the tranny?

pretty much what i expected needs replaced, they wouldnt rebuild it, guess its one of the few they wont rebuild. but somewhere else might.

will the tranny from a 96' sentra gxe work? i have a buddy whos timing chain went and he doesnt feel like fixing it, wondering if i can grab the tranny and maybe some other parts from it.

some help on what would swap ok would be nice.

how bad is the transimisson? Im in consideration, if it were a stick id say consider it sold but im kinda leary on 4 cyl autos.
