Well guys I've got the wheels turning on getting the nx2000 reconized by Ohio as a collectors car. They need info on Prod. numbers from Nissan (has to be under 15,000) , proof that it is in demand as a collectors car ( some of you have more than one does that count) or proof of substantial investment. http://www.state.oh.us/odps/division/bmv/clectors.html
I talked to Nissan North America, and the guy is doing a search on the numbers and will send me the documetation as soon as he has all of it. What can I do about the proof of it being in demand? I know they are in demand, it took me 8 months to find mine and then in april of 1998 I found it. I also asked him if there was any chance that we would get a coupe or hatch version of the se-r and he said " Well I dont know how much I can say other than we're looking in to it deeply. It wouldnt be a 2003 but maybe 2004. " So hopefully we could get a new NX or even a sentra hatch, I'm hoping for a sporty coupe nx again but real modern. Something to go after celica. we should all email Nissan asking for a new nx.

Sweet dude. The nx a collectors car huh.....that would be cool. As for nissan bringing out a new coupe se-r, i think that would be an awesome idea. Bringing out a newly restyled nx, then my money would be on the table to get my hands on one of those. Of course it would need to be powered by the sr20ve though! :D

Maybe you could add the 98 SE-R since it wasn't a big seller :D

If they make a new NX, they had better put a REAL engine in that SOB. And it needs to be odd looking, so that no one will buy it, so it will be a collector's item in 10 years.;)

I doubt it will be an NX thats my wishfull thinking but at least theres a good chance that a coupe is in the works.

i wish my ser was a collectors car, so i wouldnt have to fool with e check. i know she wont pass, but i have until 2004, so heck with it.

It's pretty obvious that '03 is the last year of the B15.

If North America could get a three-door hatch with 200hp and HLSD, that would be cool.
