okay. It is going to get sold for sure (no more Feeler ad). Here are the details:
- We purchased the car from the original owner last year over thanksgiving in Phoenix, AZ. It was garaged its whole life (so no nasty Arizona sun fade). The previous owner really cared for the car and told us he washed it once a week and waxed it often. We brought it back to Chicagoland on December 1, 2008 and titled it here in Illinois. The title is free and clear and ready to sign over.
The car has never been in an accident and is all factory original paint.
It currently has 146K miles on it and we recently did a compression test as proof of how good the engine is. Numbers came back as 173,175,175,174 on our analog compression gauge. We are more than happy to rerun the same test in front of a new owner to prove its the same car if necessary. We also welcome your own shop or mechanic to inspect as there is nothing wrong with the car and nothing to hide.
Reason for sale is I am laid off work and my husband is about to be laid off March 31st otherwise we wouldn't sell a car we searched 2 years to find in this condition, etc.
NO TRADES. (otherwise we wouldn't be interested in selling in the first place)
Since owning the car we have completed the following maintenance items:
- 2 oil changes (synthetic 5w30 w/most recently on 2/1/2009 when it was at 145,500)
- Drivers side axle replaced November 2008 (day after we bought it)
- New spark plugs 2/1/2009
- Replaced driver side window regulator 3/15/09
The car is almost stock with the only exceptions being an aftermarket stereo (Clarion CD w/Aux and USB on front) installed in early Feb 2009 along with aftermarket wheels and tires currently. The stock stereo can easily be provided to the new owner.
The only current 'needs to be addressed' issue is the front control arm bushings and we have replacement energy suspension bushings ready to be installed (This can be done for the new owner or provided with the car).
Yes this car is the coveted 5speed manual with LSD and nicer interior, fog lights and rear spoiler. We have the original window sticker to provide the new owner as well.
$5250
