Anybody had bad experiences with these? Were they ever a source of hesitation problems? Any SR20 guy can chime in here.

I have had them for about a year and haven't had any problems.

Magnecor's are the best wire to get for the sr20, I have a set of NGKs they aren't bad, but, I'll be switching to Magnecor when I get the chance.

I have run the stock plugs with the Magnacors and I have also had the Denso Iridium plugs with these wires and they both ran fine.

OEM are the best spark plug wires, I had magnecores and I did back to back dyno comparisons with oem wires, no power gain at all with the magnecores, I had msd 6a ignition. I would save the money for a more useful mod. That's just my opinion.

I have a set. Never a problem with them. I put factory ones back on trying to source the hesitation problems I was having. It wasn't the problem but I still never put them back on. next time I visit the dyno I'll bring them along.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks guys. By the way, ever figure out what the hesitation problem was? I am having that problem right now, which is why I am questioning the wires.

I too am having a small miss and cannot figure it out. I swapped out the wires and plugs with new Nissan ones and put on a new cap and rotor. I had my injectors flowed also. Still a miss. It is really starting to frustrate me. I was told to try squirting water in a vacuum line on my intake to clean possible carbon buildup on my valves. I just don't know. Thought it could be my mass air flow getting air cleaner oil on it but didn't change when I cleaned my mass air flow. I cleaned my throttle body. Checked my mass air flow ground and that was good. Timed it and adjusted idle. Still a miss. Argh! Anyone have any ideas?

I am going to try the Idle control valve fix. I'm doing that today, so I'll let you know how it goes when I'm finished.

Have you cleaned your EGR?

Have you reset your ecu? Also, reset the TPS. Read this thread.http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23656&perpage=20&pagenumber=1
I would set the tps at .48-.5 and not more then 4.1 at WOT.

Hey, thanks alot for pointing that thread out. At work on Monday I will hook up the Consult and play with the tps. My car does seem to run rich. That might fix that problem too.

Thanks again.

Bummer! It wasn't the idle control valve. Despite replacing a bad solenoid, I still have my strange surge and hesitation problem.
