Hey guys! :)

Cince last year my SR20DE is broken. I decided to insert a SR20VE into my NX2000.
Yesterday me finished the swap. And we started the engine. And it works!!! :)

BUT: It works well only until 2500rpm!!! Than it sounds like there is not enouth fuel or like the rpm-limiter sounds at higher rpm. Is there anybody with the same problem after the engine swap? What could be the problem??? I use the original ECU and MAF but the old DE oxygen sensor. I tested an other MAF and the old DE ECU but still the same problem.

sounds likes its stuck in limp-mode. which is usually caused by no signal from the MAF

Did you ever tried using the DE-o2 sensor, AND the DE MAF, AND the DE ECU (or even using the DE injectors)?

Do you use the original ECUs? No modded ones? If so, you need to stick to the parts of either motor. Either use all the VE parts, or all the DE parts, and don't mix them up. Because IIRCC, the ECUs are programmed for a certain setup.

When using the DE parts, you need an external switch for the VVL to kick in, though...

definitely sounds MAF related.

Thank you for your fast answers.

But, what does it mean "its stuck in limp-mode"? Can you explain it for me?
And how kan I test the MAF? Is it posiible to simulate a MAF? It means, witch wire should I bridge to give the ECU a "Signal" from the MAF?

Greatings,

Even if you had the wires crossed meaning the signal going to the power or vice versa it would still run albeit rich as hell, but it would still run.
