paul p 08-30-2002, 02:25 PM Not definite, but it does sound like a good time. I'm a little more comfortable w/ new ES contol arm bushings/ball joints up front. Let me et back to you later this weekend. There's gonna be a SCCA AutoX in Milwakee Mon. I may do that as well/instead.
akapaul 08-30-2002, 04:00 PM I would love to go but *****, I have school Mon, Wed, Fri :(
Jackson Diamond 08-31-2002, 06:25 PM I need to check my class schedule but i might be able to make it....

paul p 09-02-2002, 07:55 PM Quik ? Lawrence.
I was assuming that this would be in the evening, right?
You know be up there 6-7ish. I hope so, i'm a little short on available time off at the moment. I was getting a little psyched, i've never dragged before. At least never on a track.
Hey Russ,
Didn't make AutoX. SO i'm more motivated to make GLD. As for further WI events, next AutoXs, and tentative track school at RAmerica w/ badger bimmers first weekend Oct.
Who knows i may even get hooked on the 1/4 mile.
Milwakee and certainly GLD are bout as close as RT66 in Joliet for me.

Yes this will be in the evening Paul. This will be my second time at the strip myself also mainly because i want to see what my car does now.
but i need to use someones tires if anyone has a spare set:P my steell belts are showing thru pretty bad. I might use Jeromes from his 200 for that day.
Jackson Diamond 09-04-2002, 12:41 AM Sorry Guys i wont be able to make it, i have class until 7:30 pm and my car is pissing me off. Maybe next time.....
CAMPPAIN 09-05-2002, 04:30 PM it was ok at the strip unfortuantely the unannounced harley wars or whatever only limited us to 4 runs with paul p to 3. i did however run 1 whole second faster now that my car is 5 speed as opposed to auto's 17.1
btw aul i didnt get any emails from you?

So you ran a 16.1 :) Not bad considering your car is stock (right?) With the advanced timing and intake, I should be seeing high 15's.
BTW: What are paul p's times?
CAMPPAIN 09-05-2002, 06:17 PM well i have advanced timing but im not sure if its still there or not been a while since i checked it to make sure. i have the ghetto open air box mod done and thats it. i dont know if just the wai would break into the 15's i think the stock tires are crap from what ive heard but i never dragged with them on with it being 5 spd with better tires i think the car can get into 15's stock

Silly Potatoheads, (silly idle). =P
Them plus some extra track cleanup (fortunately just gravel, cones and oil), made for more waiting for us civilians. GRR!
Only getting TWO runs for the evening (hmmm 40 seconds of racing for 4hrs, not good) and i still had a blast my first time. Thanks for letting us know bout goin.
Once the novelty wears off less popular times might be better. Lots more fun for checking out power mod effectiveness than dyno time ***, and cheaper too. I'll be back soon. Maybe after finishing the CAI and slappin on headers.
Post yer time up in the sticky list, over in 'race' forum by SlowSER too. I think i'll drop an extended post over there as well.
WIll Robert jump in?
