Is there anyone in GA that has gone Turbo?:confused:

My son is planning on doing one but hasn't yet got the cash. I understand that Balanced Performance is doing a 1.6L conversion to a DET turbo right now, you could check with them.

By the way have you got any pics of your ride? I have some of both mine and my son's 200SX SER's somewhere on the hard drive if you are interested. :)

Well, I've been to Balanced preformance last week and they had a B13 turbo on the lift that was finished.. But I don't think that is the Project they was working on. Well, I want them to do my work in long run have to save up my money. There a little $$$$$$ :(

Those headlites are waay cool. Are they HID or something? Where did you pick them up? Were they tough to install?

Anyways, I would meet anywhere in Marietta. I actually live very close to Terrell Mill Park off of Delk Road. Johnson's Ferry and Roswell Road works or ???

Since I can't get the picture in the post right now, I'll describe my son's SER. It's a 95 with almost 138K on it. But still runs great. The suspension is KYB with Ground Control coilovers 350 F /300 R
ES mounts. He had a set of Rage Spa 17x7.5 with Falken GRBeta FK451 225/45/17 on . Definitely slowed the car down though. Took them off last week and is thinking about getting Falken Azenis Sport in 205/50/15 to fit the stock rims. CArbon metallic pads .

we will be down there the friday night before the show(20th) at the drag strip. ya'll should come. we're staying the night at a hotel right near the track and driving down saturday morning. but yeah definitely we need to show some nissan unity. even if there's a possiblilty of a mustang being in the group :D. there are pics of my friend's stang on the 2nd page of my website.

Would that drag strip be at Atlanta Motor Speedway? Atlanta Dragway that is.

nah it's actually no where near atl. it's in commerce, georgia. dunno why it's called atlanta dragway. it's right off 85

Yes I sourced all the parts myself. The stuff I couldn't fabricate on my own or get anywhere else I bought from Fmax. There are many custom pieces I made myself such as brackets to mount things. Everything was powdercoated for durability. My goal was to have a setup that looked exactly like the factory would have it, as well as make it easy to work on.


I have some videos, but I'm going to shoot many many more soon when the weather gets cooler. It's too dang hot right now. You can really *feel* the difference between a cool day (or rain) and a hot day.

You must not be on the Georgia SE-R list. There was a thread about just this subject on there this week. I will be there with my car (just attending) on Saturday. I have gone every year since the first one.

Yeah last year going to NOPI (my car only had CAI, no turbo yet)coming across the interstate bridge in the double turn lane a blue si decided to romp it around me in the middle of the turn. I had a car load full of people and he just barely inched his way in front of me. I can't WAIT for an idiot to try to cut me off this year. hehe :D

BTW, My car looks completely stock from the outside. You can see the intercooler and the 3inch exhaust tip(well hidden also) but other than that no other signs of mods. No stickers, with stock suspension and stock wheels, nothing else.

What's going on again.. Thomas when are you going to take me for a Turbo Spin.. Let me know.. I don't think I will be able to make it to the Nopi thing so i won't be able to see you car then. SO let me know if you can meet up before that.. I'm sure CoolblkSER would want to hook-up to. Besides, I want to take some Digi Picture of your car. Let me know if you for it.
