I searched the whole forum and couldn't find much on clutches for us non-turbos. I have been eying the exxedy, but the race organic isn't out yet. It's just that I was running 15.2's at the track and it is sliiiiping. Now it's getting worse. I also want to lighten a spare flywheel too, but can't find a place that'll do that. I've heard em all, (clutch companies). But I don't know who to trust/quality/drivability. Thanks, Jake:p :p :p

hey bro, look on eBay for clutches. they always sell exedy clutches for $100-200 bucks AND they will match up to the JWT/200 sentra se combo.

go to nissan-accessories.com. order teh clutch kit for the 2.0 for 99.95, and get free shipping. This will give you the same Pressure plate that JWT claims to "upgrade" the springs for more clamping force, but at less than half the price. You'll also get a clutch disc and throwout bearing.

Then order a B15 disc from courtesyparts.com and you have a nice little clutch kit for about 150.

I got a JWT PP and 2001 clutch on order. Will be installing it next week with some Redline MT 90 and I'm going to do UR pullies at the same time. I can't WAIT to see the difference.

hey rys-er i hear that pulleys seem to handle better than a flywheel, are they more bang for your buck?

You'll like it, Ryan. I did the EXACT same mods to mine back in June with Ben's help. The clutch grabs great and has a really light pedal feel. If I may make a suggestion; buy a clutch cable and replace it too.

Good luck!

Actually I DID order a new clutch cable. Axle seals, too. You can't be too sure. I figured I would knock everything out at once. Can't wait to see how it feels, now for that short shifter...

94SentraSE-R... I don't know whether pullies handle better thana flywheel. I think they are similar power gains, but pullies are cheaper!

The JWT PP and 2001 disc sounds like a great idea. How much do the pair go for roughly? Just for S & G, the Exedy Organic Race is going to be available in a couple weeks.

85-90 for the 2000 sentra se disk, and 225-235 for the jwt pp.

I got everything including axle seals and rear crank seal from Mossy Nissan for like $320. Not a bad deal at all. Can't wait to get it all in.

I got a Clutch Masters stage 2 w/kevlar disk and their 11lbs flywheel. It seems to hold all the boltons listed below pretty well, but I still haven't got the ecu & S4's in yet. 2nd grabs really good & this setup has a little stiffer clutch pedal than stock, but hardly noticeable though. Overall, it been good for 8k miles.

That JWT is a wimpy clutch if you ask me.
It just doesnt engage like a mad lion.
The clutch is too soft too.

For some serious aggression try the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch! I absolutely love this thing. and so does everybody else who has driven my ride.
