: Ungodly amount of thanks
zer099 03-30-2009, 02:34 PM I want to thank Rodney for going out of his way and towing my car not only from the track back to the hotel, but also for taking me, my lady, and my car all the way back home. He is the man and I am still in awe over his kindness and the amount of crap he bailed me out of.
Thank you!
Also, it was grand getting to meet everyone, and thank you so much Joe for making this happen.
det-ser92 03-30-2009, 02:52 PM this the same rodney that lives in tenn? 931 area code?
happynole 03-30-2009, 03:05 PM Yup, same one
sanmarinoblue 03-30-2009, 03:46 PM Also to Nate, Andrew and Reece for helping push Piper's big ass onto the trailer.
I appreciate all of the help! It is a rare gem to see people go out of their way to help another person without any motives.
det-ser92 03-30-2009, 04:34 PM Yup, same one
sweet...
SuperblackZ 03-30-2009, 06:36 PM ...and thanks to same for the invite to dinner, got to meet more new people and have a great time at dinner, which Rodney paid for and wouldn't take no for an answer, shoot the sheet, and exchange some stories of reckless and fun days past :D
My first oppty to meet a lot of people first time face to face, what a great group.

+1^,
I know that terrible sinking feeling, my car lost power mid straight and rolled to a stop on the infield, all I was thinking was "hmmm...there goes my ride home". Thankfully just a coil wire came off the cap, and I'm sure I could have worked something out with the CT crew to get home at least if the car had been dead. Worse, my friend Dan was driving and he had the whole "I broke you car" thing going, which was pure nonsense.
Boy does that suck, standing in the infield, throwing down the gloves, taking off the helmet and waiting for the tow truck.
That's above and beyond, Rodney :biggthump
jerryeads 03-30-2009, 08:44 PM Pretty clear to me Rodney is an A-1 class act. I got to spend some time with the guy and he's just considerate all over. The man steps up to the plate. He will NOT ask; if you haven't offered, might help him with his gas a bit; he'll refuse, force it on him :-). AND he was hurting all weekend with a bad tooth. Kudos.

Hope he got that abscess taken car of today, that was nasty. Keeping a good attitude when you have that going on says a lot.
O-ROD 03-30-2009, 10:44 PM It is good to hear that there are people like Rodney around cool ass karma like that will be rewarded. Supporting a fellow sr20 member/supporter is what makes us strong and sets the example to others.:biggthump
nissansr20nx 03-30-2009, 11:05 PM Wow guys. This is awesome! Jerry you and Steve made the trip fun. I really hope to see you guys in Wisconsin next year!
highvolkage 03-30-2009, 11:07 PM Yeah he's a legit guy for sure. Seriously one of the nicest, most genuine guys I've ever met.
llaprad1 03-31-2009, 10:31 PM People like Rodney are the new breed that will pick up the slack, now that most of the old school are moving on...
