wondering if they ever made a front upper strut bar for the 99 se/se-l. i just picked one up and i'm new to these forums... someone told me that my car won't clear most of the strut bars because of the stupid hoses and what not thats on top of the intake manifold of the SR. anybody know where i can purchase one online if there is one? thank you for ur help guyz....

I had two lovely strut bars...from ebay. They will hit against the hood on the passenger side. Im looking for a Stillen or Megan.
those ebay ain't worth a shit.

n e one know a website where i can pick up the cusco strut bar? the group buy isn't gonna happen again till july... possibly. *** wondering if there was a site you guys know of that i can *** order it reg. price.... i researched and found nothing. i also tried look'n into the stillen one, and it doesn't come up on their website.

I got the ebay strut for my birthday. It will hit hoses if installed stock, but there are some work arounds. If you loosen the frontmost hose you can twist it vertical, then slightly bend the strut bar mounts upward (about a quarter inch). Then all you have to do is add something soft the the strut bar so it won't rattle against that metal dohicky on the intake manifold. You can also pound the underside of the hood so it doesn't rattle.

It's not pretty but it work for me for over 30000 miles with no problems.
