Hey there guys!

I'm kind of desperate now as I have been trying for about an hour to get my seal out of the carrier but it wont move of a damn hair. I've tried hammering it with a square screwdriver, punching a tiny flathead between seal and carrier, but nothing will move.

What's the best method? I have tried on 2 different carriers I have and nothing works! I'm rebuilding my engine and this is absolutely pissing me off.

Thanks!
Frank

Ooooh finally it's (they're) off!! Doesn't look pretty, but it came off! Slide a very tiny flat scewdriver from the inside, between the carrier and the seal, pry, pry some more, use a mini crowbar screwdriver and pry alot, when you see through, do the same from the outside and pop! here it comes!

Is that the one I'm going to have to replace when I do my clutch?

Replaced the front one a couple of years ago, and now the leak from the other end is getting bad enough to make the engine compartment smell like a diesel after I've gone on a long run.

Sometimes the key to getting something fixed is being bold and rough enough to destroy the old stuff in the act of removing it.
