Just got back from the track yesterday. Quick run down on my setup:

-Stock GTi-R long block
-SC6152e
-log manifold
-2.5'' IC piping (blow through)
-2.5'' DP
-3'' test pipe
-2.5'' piping exiting under the car
-60lb injectors
-4 bar fuel
-N62 MAF
-Calum ecu

I need a wheel alignment badly. Got to the track and the insides of my tires were bald as can be. Anyone know how much this can affect 1/4 mile times/speeds?

Went up against a modded WRX. My first pass was on 17psi:

60' - 2.334
1/8 - 8.859
MPH - 89.81
1/4 - 13.161
MPH - 115.33

WRX ran 13.988 @ 96.4mph with a 1.8 60'.


Got the tires a little warmer on the second pass; was on close to 20psi:

60' - 2.244
1/8 - 8.649
MPH - 89.14
1/4 - 12.931
MPH - 114

What do you guys think? I am planning to get my 3'' downpipe on, new cams, and a tune. We brought my buddies 24.5 slicks but turned out they didn't clear my damn struts.:(

New times will be coming once we make some changes to the car. Still got a lot of weight to pull from the car. I'm just curious what a wheel alignment does to these numbers.

I ran 12.85 with 1.83 on the 60's using the small T25@14 psi and 22*8R15 MT drag slicks.

I would of had the slicks mounted but turns out we didn't think. They clear on my buddies car but he has CSK's with GC's. I have just regular struts with some springs. I was planning on coming home with some low 12 second times if not into the 11's. We'll see what happens next time. Timing is very low right now to try and not blow the damn motor.:D

get an alignment first. The contact patch of you tires aren't in its full pontential. And get at least some drag radials...:-) I ran a 12.9 and a 2.0 60' @ 14 psi with a 195/50/14 bf g's drag radials and the car weighed at 2780lbs with me in it. Good luck on the next time. Keep us updated.

After blowing up 5 DE's I am tired of it. I really don't wanna blow this motor up. Once tuned, I wanna see what she can do on some race fuel and high boost. Shooting for low 11's come summer time if not better.;)

225/50/15 bf...i got them to hook for a great 1.89 60ft

I would love to get the car to hit some 1.8 60' times. I just got some 215/60/14 BFG's so i'll see how they do. If I can shave a few tenths off the 60' that would be awesome. Car is getting cammed and tuned soon. Going to my buddies tonight to mock up the 3'' exhaust system.:)

i was gonna say, your a little down on power bro, bump the timing and you can lower the boost. at 18-19lbs on a t28 i was making 320hp and trapping 119mph w/ slicks, and definitely get an alignment.:biggthump

my buddy ran 12.8 with a t25, S4's and a set of ghetto slicks!!! not sure on the psi but it wasnt that high though!!!

Car will be going for an alignment on Monday. Then time to start pulling weight out of her. The car needs to get tuned bad. I want to throw some more timing at her since base timing is 20* and now I have it low. I figure with some slicks the car should be deep into the 12's and pick up 1-2mph if not more. Money is on the side now for a tune. Cams should hopefully be in by the end of the month. Going back next month to another track and looking to run 11's on the first pass.:D
