been hearing different opinions on lighter flywheels.
When do you want to keep the stock flywheel and when do you want to get a lighter one????
what do you guys think?

sotck if you like a normal dirving car

lighter if you want better preformance/faster reponse.....only problem i have with my 9lb, is coming from N to first, it takes some time to get used to where the RPMS need to be when you disengage the clutch.....so many people stallmy car when trying to shift into 1st...lol its funny......& 1 good plus of the LW FW, is all other gears seem to hit that RPM sweet spot with little effort

Lighter flywheel is the way to go with NA or Boost, it's like loosing 250 some pounds on your car :).

I have the XTD Prolite, it's an amazing improvement over stock flywheel. We are having no trouble at all engaging 1st gear. Even my wife loves it.

This is the same unit that I have:

I should mention that the XTD is around 10.5 lbs, while most Fidanza's (109 tooth ones), are 8.8 lbs.

That company aimco clutch on ebay no longer sells the xtd 9lb because of some problems with clutch chatter at high rpms. I bought one and they shipped me out an f1 racing 13lb in its place :squint: so i talked to them and worked out a deal.
