and couldnt find what i was looking for..sooo...
what are the best mounts for a small turbo engine (where im planning on going)? es has mounts again, and i looked up place racing. jwt has them too. what are the main differences and do any of them have something that makes them more desirable? how much do they run and how hard are they to put in? anything you learned. thanks!
I read in Nissan Performance Magazine that Place Racing recently redesigned its SR20DE mounts, but I haven't read anything outside of that. Either no one has tried them, or I haven't paying close enough attention.
I'd be interested in a set of PR mounts if it weren't for the asinine requirement for stock motor mounts in STS Solo2 class.

The ES motor mounts are just inserts that fill the space in your stock motor mounts. I went a step beyond that and filled the space they didn't buy putting fast cure 3M window weld in there and drying it under a heat lamp overnight while some vice grips were holding the inserts in. The JWT and PR motor mounts are similar, except I believe the PR motor mounts dont come with the front dogbone mount and the JWT do. Also, the ES mount replaces the passenger side mount completly, you have to have it pressed out and the new one pressed in. I have all 4 and I love them, not as much vibrations as everyone always complains about. Hope this clears some stuff up for you.

EDIT: The PR motor mounts are around $200 or so, and the JWT are around $275. All the ES mounts cost about $70 shipped, so you can see why I chose those. They should be great for turbo.

quick question while I'm here... the 91-94 Sentra motor mounts are the same for all engines and models?

The auto SR20's don't have the front dogbone mount, I think the GA16 with the manual has all the same mounts.
