A few of the Nissanprimera.net members aswell as fellow enthusiasts from other sites and forums have been discussing the publication of a Nissan Enthusiasts Magazine for general public sale. Here is a general outline of what we want to achieve, but what we need from the public is some feedback. The aim of a Nissan based publication is to produce a monthly magazine which will allow all Nissan owners and potential owners to discover a new side to owning a Nissan Vehicle. Weve all heard of 'Performance' magazines such as Performance Ford, VW, etc, but there is no official publication specifically aimed at Nissan drivers. What we're hoping to achieve is a upper class magazine which will cater for all models of Nissans, for every type of person ranging from your +18 ( who's just purchased a new or used Nissan and wanting to improve performance or styling ), to the +30 +40 etc,( who drives their Nissan on a daily basis to comute to and from work ). What we do want to avoid is the stigma which relates to most tuning/performance magazine, which is the 'Boy Racer' image. However, issues and features will cover items relating to this in order to maintain public interest. Below, ive outlined a general layout of the publication. Any further ideas can be added or altered in the future.

General content will include;

Regular car features (various nissan cars from LX's to GTR's)
News ( general news and updates from the world of motoring and factory news)
New products (styling, tuning, audio, services, gadgets and gizmos etc.)
Agony pages ( readers questions and answers)
Letters (readers feedback)
Directory/Advertising (for all aspects of tuning, stlying and services including finance and insurance.)
State side features (bringing the best and lastest cars over from the US. bridging the gap between Infiniti and Nissan)
History features (Taking a look back in time at all the forgotten Nissans/Datsuns that were once leading the way)
Web info (listings for clubs, groups, forums and website offering various related services)
Tuners and aftermarket vendors.
Used car section, Buyers guide.
Classified Adverts for cars, parts and services etc.
DIY guides for maintainance, styling, tuning, audio etc.

As regualar users of the internet will know, we have access to a never ending supply of infomation, and feature cars worldwide.

I'm down for an all out Nissan mag. I think that the Datsun guys should be able to get in on this (because they get left out in the cold too). I'm voting for a Datsun/Nissan deal!

one of the things i do strongly feel about is looking back at the old Datsans, cos wanna get educated about the past achievements of Nissan too, so a blast from the past feature will go down well i think.

sorry, my fault, i should have written the intro a bit clearer. We want to try and get Nissan UK to publish a Nissan Enthusiasts Magazine. We in the UK dont have a magazine specially for Nissan, like your Nissan Performance Mag, so basically, were a bit jealous. We want to persuade Nissan to do the same thing here, which is why we need everyone to show some support. We can show them that there is people out there willing to buy it, or at least contribute to it, in the way of features etc.

im like most people, i drive a Nissan, like to modify my Nissan, but here in the UK, theres a lack of info on them. i dont know anyone who has access to a printing press aswell as distributions, whereas Nissan does, so we want them to make it, afterall, its gonna generate money for them in the long term.

also, its not a net based mag we asking for.

Nissan Performance Mag is currently an internet publication only, There are plans to go to a print version in the near future. The U.S. does not have an all Nissan based magazine either...

youve hit the nail on the head. We in the UK dont have like you say, an all Nissan based mag, so thats what were trying to achieve.

The idea of the email of support not only will be used to show potential publishers the damand, but also for me to gather info for future features, ie, make/model,list your mods. So if and when the time comes, i can look thru them all and select from there.

make it like Max power and I am sure you will have many followers. We don't have a mag like the real Maxpower over here...lol :D. BTW I am sure Nissan will not do it. No automotive company makes its own magazine, but if they are the first that would be cool.

why you guys connect with the nissan performance mag guys and make a mag called nissan world! or world nissan! make the mag a international one. and have these big companys jim wolf, $tillen pay for it thru advertising and you euro guys can get ad designer or any euro company that support nissan to pay for it. the big companys get the advertising and us little guys get to see perfomance nissan cars from around the world.

theres a lot of things we want to do with this new mag, but until we can get someone to stand up and take notice, theres very little we can do.

so far, various managers and marketing managers are being sourced so that we can put our idea forward. we are awaiting some replys.
